Project Overview
M. Neils prepared scoping studies, schematic design and construction documents, and provided construction support for information technology improvements in over 70 buildings in the Sacramento, Roseville, South Sacramento, Central Valley and Diablo service areas. The improvements are required to implement new WAN, LAN, Wireless and VOIP, in addition to fiber optic upgrades to increase bandwidth connectivity and diverse entry to the sites. The new infrastructure is necessary to improve the performance of the paperless patient chart system, remote access of all imaging files, and teledata communications. The infrastructure upgrades needed are emergency generation, uninterruptible power systems, underground electrical distribution, telecommunication room construction/remodel, and improvements to the electrical power and fire alarm systems.
