M. Neils has managed the electrical designs for numerous public safety projects throughout California, as well as providing services for other public projects at the local, regional and state level. The firm has developed significant expertise in police essential services facilities through the public design/build process as an Executive Engineer and through the design/bid/build process as the Electrical Engineer of Record. The firm also has completed emergency operations facilities which support response to fighting wildfires. M. Neils has extensive experience in completing renovation projects in 24/7 operational facilities where existing systems and services must be maintained during construction. Serving multiple clients, M. Neils has provided electrical engineering scoping studies, planning, design and construction administration services on projects involving building renovations, additions, new construction, life safety/egress pathways, ADA improvements, service spaces, electrical, mechanical and telecommunication equipment upgrades and power distribution facilities.
