Project Overview
Electrical design included interior lighting for one lecture room and one lighting classroom. Multiple lighting systems (including linear indirect, recessed lensed troffers and recessed downlights) were installed to demonstrate different lighting solutions in the same space. Each room contains multi zone dimming controls, interfaces to audiovisual control and projection systems, and telecommunications cabling pathways.
The lighting control systems provide the instructor with zone control of lighting levels, providing flexibility for presentation of media onscreen while maintaining ambient illumination levels for reading and note-taking in the seating areas. The lighting classroom also contains lighting aids built into the walls for demonstration purposes.
